Meet the Team

John DeFoor is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri, who has dedicated his life to public service and community advocacy. He holds a Master's in Public Administration and Public Policy from Park University, which has equipped him with the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact in his community.

John is a family man happily married to Rori DeFoor, and together they have two sons, Nick, and John DeFoor Jr. As a father and husband, John understands the importance of family values and community support.

In addition to his family life, John is an active member of the Northland Democratic Club. He served as the club's Vice President for two years and is currently the President. As the leader of this organization, John is committed to promoting progressive policies and fighting for social justice in the local community.

John also serves on the Missouri Democratic Party Affairs Committee, where he works to promote the values of the Democratic Party and to elect Democratic candidates who will positively impact the lives of people in Kansas City and beyond.

John has been a proud union member who believes in standing up for workers' rights and supporting those who need it most in the community. He volunteers his time for other local organizations in the Kansas City area, including those that support education, Homelessness, and social justice.
